Our Mission:
To support organizations serving homeless children and families in need by engaging in activities to improve their health, education, rehabilitation and by providing opportunities for their spiritual development.
LAMPLighters has a rich history of dedicated support for children and families residing at Metropolitan Ministries.
In 2002-03, recognizing the growing need to assist other programs that cater to vulnerable children, our membership made a significant decision to expand our scope. Since then, we have been actively allocating a portion of the funds raised annually to support Joshua House—a remarkable program and shelter specifically designed for abused and neglected children from the Tampa Bay area. This expansion has allowed us to extend our reach and make a greater impact in the lives of children in need.
LAMPLighters are always looking for new members...year round, but memberships are from June through May.
